Come with an open, beginner’s mind ready to move and be present! We believe that attending the full day will allow you to truly disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with yourself. So your ticket is for the entire six hours, including a light brunch.

What to bring
Please come in comfortable athletic clothing. Slip-on shoes may be most convenient to head outdoors for meditation.
Bring: yoga mat, water bottle, meditation pillow (if you use one in your practice).
We’re thrilled to partner up with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - Washtenaw County through Bliss Retreat. NAMI - Washtenaw County is a peer-led, grassroots organization offering several educational programs to help support mental health in our community.
With your help, we’ll donate a portion of Bliss Retreat ticket sales to NAMI’s “Ending the Silence”—a program (traveling to local schools and community events) educating students, parents, and teachers about early signs of mental health conditions and how to get help. Young adults also share their experience with mental health—a great conversation opener to connect peers who can relate and give support.
The benefits of mindfulness, yoga, and meditation on mental health have been studied for many years. Broadly, these benefits relate to calming the heart rate and activating the parasympathetic nervous system—which has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, among other things.
Bliss Retreat was created on premise to give back to our community by helping retreat guests explore ways to find inner calm the day of, and also help support a local mental health organization.
